Hans Schmitter, Senior Managing Director of our Indianapolis office is a native of Indiana and has over nine years of experience in the appraisal industry. Hans earned his Bachelor’s degree from Indiana State University and has an extensive background in construction, architecture, and engineering design. He is active with the Hoosier Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity since 2008. Hans resides in Zionsville, Indiana, with his wife Lufi, and their daughter Anya.

Marion County Residential Supply and Demand
From 2003 through 2012, permits were issued for 25,871 housing units in Marion County during which time the change in the number of households was 23,599. Thus, supply has been increasing relative to demand and, all other things being equal, should result in downward pressure on home prices in the county.
